Moonlight Run

Last night I did the Palo Alto Moonlight Run. I ran the 5k. I didn't do as well as I wanted to, but I'm glad I did it. I wanted to do under 30 minutes, but I did about 33:45. It was a little frustrating because it was so crowded and the trail was so narrow that for the first three minutes I had to walk, and then for the first mile or so I was trying to get around people (not that I was that fast--I was passing old people, jogging strollers, kids, and high school girls who were running and giggling about boys at the same time). It was just really crowded. After I had a little space it was easier to run faster (for me) and get a good pace going.
My sister Rachel was in town and she did the 5k walk, so that was cool to both do something together (although we weren't actually together--the walk was an hour and a half earlier). I am really excited for her that she did the walk. And I am just proud of myself for doing a race at all on Nelle's two month bday!
Here we are showing off our nonexistent muscles:

I know you guys are all jealous of how cool we Wagners look.

That reminds me of when I did the Alpine Days 5k with you on Eden's almost 2 mo. birthday. That was so fun. Congrats. I would love a moonlight run b/c I'm such a night person.
